New Executive Chef

Victor Scargle Comes to the Restaurant at Bardessono with More Than Twenty Years of Culinary Experience

(Yountville, CA) - The Bardessono Hotel, Restaurant, and Spa has hired Victor Scargle as the resort’s new Executive Chef. He will be starting on June 1. Chef Scargle is a highly talented chef with more than twenty years of professional culinary experience.

Chef Scargle gets his culinary inspiration through this close relationship with purveyors and by spending time in his garden. He brings his culinary style – using clean, simple, and bright flavors – to the dishes he will create for Bardessono.

Most recently a Chef Instructor at the Culinary Institute of America Greystone, Chef Scargle has cooked at some of the finest restaurants in The Bay Area. From Go Fish and Julia’s Kitchen at Copia in the Napa Valley to Jardinière, Grand Café, and Aqua in San Francisco, he has made an indelible mark on local cuisine.

The Bardessono is pleased for Chef Scargle to bring his distinctive personal culinary style to its menus.
