James Beard House participant, and Lucy’s pastry chef, Tedd Romero, is holding an intimate cooking class for Moms and their children. On the menu are the following scrumptious recipes:
Kids and their moms will start by touring Lucy’s on-site organic, culinary garden with Chef Romero to pick fresh lavender. Then they will learn how to make their own lavender infused simple syrup, and ultimately make the best fresh lemonade together. Sure to be a crowd stopper at your kids next Lemonade Stand!
Next, everyone will move inside to the Private Dining Room at Lucy to make:
Red Velvet Cupcakes
Chef Romero will give a demonstration on how to prepare a distinct cupcake batter, and special cream cheese frosting. Kids and mom will then have time to decorate and sample their gourmet creations.
Each child and mom will have a parting gift that includes the Lavender Lemonade recipe, a bottle of the house-made Lavender Simple Syrup, and an additional surprise from Chef Romero.
$25.00 per child with mom (not inclusive of tax)
Limited to a maximum 10 children and their moms.

The first Dive Bar of summer is back! Our party happens poolside on the rooftop terrace at Bardessono on the last Thursday of the month from June to August. All guests 21 and older are welcome to join our complimentary events. Sip specialty cocktails, while mingling with other Bardessono guests and local celebrities.
For this event, Mary Orlin, the WineFashionista, wine and perfume journalist for the Huffington Post, and certified Sommelier, will pair Jessup Cellar wines with Sarah Horowitz Parfums. In addition to these unique tasting stations, The Spa at Bardessono will make a splash with a swimwear fashion show held poolside with designer Mia Marcelle and with eye wear by Kayhoy Kollection.
