Lucy’s Garden (onsite at Bardessono) serves as the foundation of the entire food & beverage program. In fact, Chef Scargle is so committed to a ‘garden first’ approach that the garden serves as the restaurant’s namesake.

Garden-fresh produce grown mere steps from Lucy’s kitchen in the onsite garden and in partnership with several local farms, including the garden operated by Michelin-starred Ubuntu restaurant in Napa, and collaboration with Jacobsen Family Orchards owned by master gardener Peter Jacobsen – whose farm has been the exclusive supplier of fruits, herbs, and vegetables to The French Laundry for the past decade.

Garden Tours

Garden tours are always available. Chef Scargle or a member of his team will happily provide garden tours to showcase herbs and produce and offer guests samples – from Persian lime wedges to one of eight mint varieties.

Lucy’s Table

In the spring and summer, guests can book garden parties, which start with a chef-led garden tour and a seasonal specialty cocktail created by mixologist Vincent Lee, with local herbs and fruits and locally distilled liquor, and end with a multi-course meal served at a communal table arranged in the heart of Lucy’s Garden.
