Through archival performances and intimate reflections, the film explores her enduring impact as an artist, mentor, and humanitarian. With insight from Renée Fleming, Susan Graham, and Jake Heggie, Flicka reveals how von Stade channels her passion into community activism and education, bringing music to underprivileged students and unhoused individuals. Flicka pays tribute to both her legendary voice and boundless generosity. The screening will be followed by a Q & A with von Stade and members of the film’s creative team.
